Cypress Backyard Retreat

The deck makes the first impression here — a field of cream marble crossed with dark polished-stone bands, laid in a lattice that frames the pool like an inlay. Around the water, raised walls of dark stacked stone with white caps carry fire bowls and linear troughs filled with blue fire glass. At one end, a spa faced in iridescent blue glass tile sits beside a shallow shelf where bubbler fountains break the surface, and four glass-mosaic swim-up stools wait just below the waterline. It all sits a few steps from the home's covered patio, with open green space beyond the iron fence.
